ZENEC E>GO Z-E2015 – Perfect Integration Into Your VW

In 2008, ZENEC brought the first E>GO onto the market, thereby im-

mediately establishing a completely new category of device: the vehicle-

specific naviceiver. Today, ZENEC is the market leader in the German

speaking area for in-car multimedia navigation devices. And with the new

product range there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.

E>GO – clever design, perfect system solution

The E>GO concept, honored with two innovation prizes, is a system solu-

tion without equal for realizing in-car multimedia and navigation in an

in geniously simple way: E>GOs are a perfect fit – visually and technically

– in the respective target vehicle. Of particular importance is the perfect

integration into the existing vehicle electronics. And this is not just the

interface with the steering wheel remote control.

Straightforward installation, an immense range of functions and an ingen-

iously simple concept of operation – that makes E>GO so exceptional and

so successful. With the knowledge of the peculiarities and specific pitfalls

of the individual vehicles in the background, the next E>GO generation

now lines up. Perfectly matched to the respective target vehicles, they

come with a high-resolution digital touch panel, many innovative features

and, key for ZENEC, a simplified ease of use.

E>GO Z-E2015 – custom-fit to your VW

The Z-E2015 is a smart specialist, specifically developed for your VW.

The specific construction, the white/red button illumination and the

custom ized styling of the front panel make ZENEC’s top naviceiver blend

in perfectly with various VW, SEAT, and SKODA models.

The Z-E2015 is also effortlessly integrated into the existing auto mo tive

electronics. The E>GO is linked to the steering wheel remote control, the

Multifunction Display (MFD+), the Optical Park System (OPS), and the

Climatronic control status via the vehicle-specific CAN bus interface.

E>GO Z-E2015 – navigation, entertainment, communication

Enjoy the sophisticated ZENEC multimedia features with CD, DVD, USB

or iPod/iPhone.

The integrated hands-free system, which communicates perfectly with

your smart phone, allows you to make telephone calls in comfort at any

time. The speaker independent voice recognition function (“voice com-

mand”) allows to control call control functions even easier and “dial“

phone book contacts directly using voice commands.

For the best possible radio reception the Z-E2015 has a phase diversity

FM dual tuner on board.

For the navigation part, the Z-E2015 is perfectly equipped. Detailed

maps of all European countries, realistic display of 3D terrains and 3D

landmarks, more than 6.5 million Premium POIs, TMC, integrated trip

computer, Auto Zoom, Lane Assistant and Smart Mode – thanks to the

latest customized Primo 2.0 nav-software the Z-E2015 impresses with its

diversity of functions and with accurate route guidance.

All-round information

Thanks to the infobar function, you will be notified

of incoming calls and/or audio features without

leaving the navigation mode. In other playback

modes there is also a navigation infobar to keep

you updated when to take the next turn or exit.

Nav splitscreen

Always keep track: The E>GO naviceiver allows

navigation splitscreen mode on the TFT LCD

screen for various audio sources, including the

Bluetooth hands-free source mode.

Simple connection of iPod/iPhone

Connect your iPod or iPhone to the E>GO device

via the USB port. The display of Apple Album Art

is integrated in the iPod/iPhone menu. This menu

also gives you the facility to search for a title or an

artist alphabetically.

A/C control status info integration

The status data of the Climatronic, if installed in

the respective vehicle and present in the CAN net,

are displayed as a pop-up info on your E>GO’s

touchscreen display during adjustment of any

A/C related function.

Phase Diversity FM Dual Tuner

The dual tuner of the E>GO is working with an FM

phase diversity circuit that processes the signals

of the two antennas built into the vehicle. A DSP

algorithm generates the desired noise and distor-

tion free FM signal. You always enjoy optimum

radio reception, even under difficult conditions.

Up-to-date navigation

The full EU navigation package on 8 GB SD card

deploys a customized 2.0 Primo navigation engine

and contains 6.5 million Premium POI as well as

other useful add-ons. The 8 GB SD card provides

more than ample space for map updates and other

content extensions via toolbox and Naviextras.

Steering wheel remote control integration

The E>GO Z-E2015 is connected via the vehicle-

specific CAN bus interface to the factory installed

steering wheel remote control. The multimedia

functions and telephony functionality of the steer-

ing wheel remote control are supported.

Day/night mode HMI

Th e E>G O of f ers a day/night m ode H MI. Switching

modes can be adjusted for in the System Settings.

In addition, the device front panel is fitted with a

light sensor for dynamic control of TFT brightness.

Parking sensors

Perfect integration into each target vehicle – data

present in the CAN net for factory installed park-

ing radar sensors is read, processed and dis-

played via the ZENEC OPS (Optical Parking Sys-

tem) on the touchscreen of the E>GO.

Multifunction Display (MFD+)

E>GO is a perfect fit: The Z-E2015 also supports

the Multifunction Display (MFD+), that is connect-

ed to the CAN bus. Displayed are turn key arrows,

as well as radio station and track infos from all

audio sources.

Easy parking and maneuvering

You can also easily connect a rear-view camera to

the E>GO and conveniently control it via the touch-

screen. The extensive ZENEC range of accessories

offers you a large selection of different models like

car specific cameras for your car.

Gracenote Playlist Plus

The Gracenote “More Like This” feature stands for

the “one-click“ generation of style and genre based

playlists for USB data carriers by simple selection

of one song/track.
